The basic material from which this crystal-clear foil is produced is lactic acid, which is obtained from vegetable sugars. This biofoil has a number of advantages:
- the transparency is many times greater than that of the foils used to date (also in comparison with the biofoil alternatives based on starch);
- entirely environmentally friendly due to the use of plant-based, renewable materials;
- this foil is almost 100% recyclable without any loss of quality;
- this foil can be disposed of with kitchen and garden waste.
This foil is printed (with the seedling logo) which makes it clear to the receiver that this foil is environmentally friendly and can be disposed of together with kitchen and garden waste.
